This chair is perfect for my petite and mobility limited mom. She loves it; for the price we bought two, one leather and one teddy. The teddy is great for our family room, as we have kitties, and the leather serves her well in her bedroom without kitty access. She sits and naps throughout the day and greatly appreciates the ease at which it helps her to both a standing and a seated position. Standard oversized recliners were too large and uncomfortable for her. With this compact chair, she is able to enjoy time with the family,as well as, work on her projects/paperwork with the addition of an adjustable, hospital type table. She simply loves her chairs.If you are looking for an inexpensive, compact, sit to stand recliner for a more petite to average sized person, this chair is it!It easily assembles, comes in two pieces, and takes less than 5 minutes to put together and plug in. The "leather" is smooth and cool to the touch. The teddy fabric seems to resist the occasional claw and is teddy comfy as described. I did purchase additional covers for each of the chairs as the colors are very light. 23in wide covers fit perfectly. I am so happy to have found this chair for my dear Mama!
